Installation Guide
Dont worry, you don't have to be a computer whiz to hook-up myLow.
It's easy. After you order the service, we handle the rest. We'll send you an
installation kit that includes a telephone adapter for each line you order as
well as the network cable, power adapter and quick-start instructions. You
simply plug your phone and your DSL or cable modem into the adapter, and you're ready to make and receive calls. This installation guide will show you how to get your myLowphone service working on your own. Just open the installation kit and get rolling.
Step One - Connect the two piece power plug.
Just like this.
STEP TWO - Depending on your setup you will do one of two things:
A. If you are using a network router or hub to connect multiple computers to the internet, plug the supplied network cable into the WAN port on the myLow adapter and then into the router, in the same way your computer is connected.
B. If you simply plug your computer directly into your Cable Modem or DSL modem:
Plug the supplied network cable into into the WAN port on the myLow adapter, then plug the other end of this SAME cable into your cable modem. You computer will come next.
Like this.
Then plug a second network cable from your computer into the LAN port on the myLow adapter.

IMPORTANT NOTE - ** NOTE some routers should be plugged in AFTER the myLow Adapter. If you are not getting a solid VOIP light after following the procedure below, try plugging in the myLow ATA FIRST ahead of your other devices.
Follow these steps:
1. Plug in the myLowPhone ATA.
2. Next Plug in The Cable Modem and wait 1 min.
3. Then Turn on your computer.
Please review this TECH ARTICLE of you still have NO VOIP light.
You're almost done! Now unplug your house phone from the wall and plug it into the myLow adapter.
Like this.
Plug the power cord into the back of the myLow adapter.
Easy stuff.
Plug the power supply into your wall socket and watch the lights on the front.
All five lights should turn green and that means you are hooked up!
Try it out!

Pick up your telephone receiver. If you hear a dial tone, you have finished the installation and can begin making calls.
Troubleshooting
Not getting a dial tone? Try the following solutions to common problems:
- Many issues are resolved by resetting your equipment. To do this: First, shut off your computer, router, and DSL/cable Modem. Then, turn the devices back on one at a time. Turn them on in this order: modem, router, computer. ** NOTE some routers should be plugged in AFTER the myLow Adapter. If you are not getting a solid VOIP light after following the procedure above, try plugging in the myLow ATA FIRST ahead of your other devices.
- Make sure your phone is plugged into "Tel" on the adapter.
- Are you able to access web pages? If not, the problem may be with your internet connection. Check with your service provider to find out if there are connection issues in your area or some other problem with your connection.
- Be sure your telephone, which is plugged into the router, is disconnected from the wall telephone jacks (the ones you use for traditional phone company service). myLow won't work if the phone is still plugged in to a wall jack.
- Redo the steps of this installation guide. Make sure to follow the steps exactly. The order in which you connect and turn on everything is very important.
- Did you keep your modem switched off for 10 minutes or longer? If not, turn it off and keep it off for at least 10 minutes.
